Given the current issues facing pediatric immobilization during radiographic imaging, our team sought to devise a solution that would...

1. Address the inhumane perception of current immobilization devices like the Papoose Board

2. Alleviate the need for pediatric sedation, which has the potential to cause neurological damage in younger patients with underdeveloped nervous systems. 

After extensive research and testing, we created a solution that addresses both issues of perception and sedation through an engaging and child-friendly device that implements the science of pink noise to calm and reduce the movement of a young patient during a loud and stressful imaging procedure.
